You can read it yourself, follow along, or just listen
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
James 4:8
We have explored some big questions.
We learned that the universe had a beginning.
That the world is made perfectly for life.
That we know right from wrong.
That people everywhere believe in God.
All of these point to one truth.
God exists.

But Bible Explorers often ask one final question.
If God is real, can we actually know Him?
The answer is yes.
God is not just a force or an idea.
He is personal.
That means He thinks.
He loves.
He cares.
He listens.
The Bible shows us that God wants a relationship with people.
He is not far away.
He is not hiding.
He invites us to seek Him.
Knowing God is not about having all the answers.
It is about trust.
Just like you can know a friend without knowing everything about them, we can know God even while we are still learning.

God made us to know Him.
That is why our hearts search.
That is why questions matter.
That is why exploring faith is important.
God is not afraid of honest questions.
He welcomes them.
The Bible tells us that God showed Himself most clearly through Jesus.
Jesus showed us what God is like.
He loved people.
He helped the hurting.
He forgave sins.
He told the truth.
He gave His life for others.
Through Jesus, God stepped into our world so we could know Him better.
Knowing God does not mean life becomes perfect.
But it does mean we are not alone.
God walks with us.
He listens when we pray.
He guides us through His Word.
He gives peace when life feels confusing.
So can we know God personally?
Yes.
Not because we are perfect.
But because God is loving.
Bible Explorers do not just learn about God.
They are invited to walk with Him.
That is the greatest discovery of all.

Think About It
• Why do you think God wants a relationship with people?
• How is knowing God different from just knowing facts about Him?
• What do you think Jesus shows us about God?
• How can you talk to God when you have questions?
• What would it look like for you to grow closer to God?
