I’m a fantasy and science fiction fan, so I eagerly anticipated reading this book. I was not disappointed. Brianna and Matthew Penfold have truly achieved something remarkable with their book, The Intrepid Three.

Through the magical realm of fantasy, they expertly weave an intricate allegory that captivates readers from the very first page. This intriguing tale is just the beginning of a thrilling series that explores the journey of three noteworthy teenagers hailing from different worlds.

As the story unfolds, these three characters unite under the watchful eye of a mysterious being aptly named Author. Like a beacon of light in the vast expanse (to loosely borrow from the opening line), Author guides them through a series of challenges and adventures.

The Penfolds’ writing style is enchanting and evocative, painting vivid scenes that transport readers to fantastical realms of mystery and wonder. Their attention to detail and rich character development breathe life into the story, making it difficult to put down.
